The Deposit Growth Opportunities All Around Us

While there has been a tremendous focus on retaining low-cost funding.  This bank webinar concentrates on getting depositors to move away from their existing accounts at other financial institution.  We will be talking offensive strategies in this timely webinar. As your financial institution moves from a maintenance mode to a growth mode with interest rates above ultra-low levels a new form of offense can make the growth dramatically more profitable.

The old-fashioned approach was to run a CD special.  That is still an option.  But to be effective in getting balances the rate typically must be so high that it poisons the net interest margin and provides no differentiation from your competition.  We are going to talk about how to get more volume of properly priced deposits.

Specific topics will include:

  • Companion Deposit Accounts
  • The keys for Success with One-time Jump-Up CDs
  • CD Refinancing
  • Customized CDs
